MEET THE FOUNDER
HI, I'M NATALEE
In early 2018, I began volunteering in Mexico City to combat human trafficking. I thought I was emotionally and mentally prepared, having previously volunteered in a Los Angeles red light district with transgender prostitutes and spent time among addicts and the homeless on Skid Row. However, nothing could have truly prepared me for what I witnessed, the stories I heard, and the tears I wiped from the faces of children who were victims of sex trafficking.Pair large text with an image to tell a story, explain a detail about your product, or describe a new promotion.

IT WASN'T UNTIL...
It wasn't until my second trip that I felt a calling from a higher power. I heard God say, "Now that you've seen, you are accountable." I realized that once these women and children were rescued, I needed to do something to ensure they never had to return to that life. A month later, I founded Red Moon Weaving.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

EMPOWERMENT & TRAINING
Natalee provides empowerment and training to girls who have overcome human trafficking with the help of a local couple considered the master weavers. Through mentorship and skill development, she equips them with the knowledge and tools to create exquisite handmade jewelry. Natalee's guidance fosters their confidence and independence.

HANDCRAFTED PRODUCTION
With Natalee's support, these resilient girls use their newfound skills to craft beautiful, handcrafted jewelry. Each piece is a testament to their strength and determination. These unique creations symbolize their journey from adversity to empowerment, and they carry a message of hope and resilience.

THE MARKETPLACE
Red Moon Weaving purchases the handcrafted jewelry from these courageous girls and offers them through its ethical marketplace. By doing so, provides a sustainable source of income for the girls. Customers who purchase these jewelry pieces not only acquire beautiful and meaningful products but also contribute to a cause that empowers survivors.
